| Other Info | Ever wanted to sing the jazz classics but wonder where to begin? These 4 hands-on classes explore the fundamentals of singing in a jazz setting, and provide students with guidance in developing their own style. Live music will be provided during class, and at the end of the session there will be a public performance/recital in a jazz club with accompaniment by a jazz trio where each student will perform a “set” of 3-4 songs of choice.
Class is limited to 5 students on a first come, first serve basis. Cost is $250 (includes 4 three hour-long classes with two instructors, piano accompaniment, all handout materials, and performance/recital musicians' fee).
Location: Maple Leaf (N. Seattle)
Class dates are as follows: 4 consecutive Sundays from noon to 3:00 pm beginning Oct. 18 with performance/recital date with the jazz trio on Thursday, Nov. 19th at 7pm. |
