Love in Bloom

Spring in Seattle is a beautiful time to enjoy the incredible display of colors provided for us by our dear Mother Nature. There is a feeling of hope and re-emergence as we begin exploring more outdoor activities and see promise of returning to social visits with friends and family. Bring on the HUGS and LIVE MUSIC! Pretty soon there will be picnics and potlucks. Time to dust off my dancing shoes just in case… As the quarantine protocols begin to shift in our favor, requests for performances are happening, and hopefully this forward momentum will continue…

Thriving (so far) in my big life while Quarantining

It has been a time of learning, living at a slower pace, and appreciation for life itself. Between the portuguese studies, yoga, walks, playing waltzes and guitar lessons, I am making the most of every moment while holding near folks that are on the frontlines and those not as fortunate. The virus is surging again and the weather is turning cold and rainy, shifting us to more indoor activity. I have good food, warm clothing, dry shelter, loved ones and music in my life, and for these things I am grateful.
