December 31st, Royal Argosy, Pier 55, Seattle Waterfront 8:30pm - 12:30pm cruise What better way to ring in the New Year than with friends and family on the elegant Royal Argosy. Guests will enjoy an incredible cruise and dinner, coffee and tea, live music on all decks and terrific views of the fireworks, as well as a champagne toast at midnights! Menu: 1st course, Seated at your table Spicy chilled Firecracker Prawns, Jumbo prawns served in a spicy marinade of peppers a 2nd Course, Seated at your table Royal Argosy Signature Salad, Baby wild greens, Washington Granny Smith apple , Oregon blue cheese , candied walnuts, Bainbridge Island cinnamon swirl raisin bread croutons and a rosemary vinaigrette 3rd Course, Northwest Buffet Alaskan King Crab Legs Alder Planked Alaskan Salmon Chef Carved Roasted Prime Rib Roasted vegetable ravioli with a sun-dried tomato sauce Asparagus Platters served with roaseted hazelnuts Fruit Display Wild Grain Harvest Rice 4th Course, Dessert Buffet Coffee, tea and soda are included, as well as a champagne toast at midnight complete with party favors. | Other Info | Run by a small dance committee committed to promoting and sustaining folk music and dance for children and families. The dance is sponsored by the Seattle Folklore Society, www.seafolklore.org, and the Phinney Neighborhood Association, www.phinneycenter.org. WHO enjoys our dances? Family dances are appropriate for families with children ages 10 and under BUT younger children can be held & older children who enjoy dancing still enjoy the dance. We occasionally organize family-friendly community dances a but which require a higher level of skill and focus. WHEN? For the 2010-2011 season our dance run on THIRD Sundays starting on October 19th and continuing until January; in February we'll switch to FOURTH Sundays through May. |
